Nathan Olbrich and Lucas Aulenback are about to embark on an unforgettable journey.

The two Drumheller boys are among the group of students ages 14-17 participating in Two Wheel View's bike trip from Drumheller to the majestic Canadian Rockies.

"It sounded like a lot of fun and I want to be able to build leadership skills and meet new people," said Aulenback.

From August 10 to 18, the group will bike and camp at different locations between Drumheller and Banff, including Rosebud, Acme, Goldenrod Community Hall, Ghost Station, Bow Valley Campground and Canmore.

Two Wheel View partners with The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, which sees participants set and achieve personal goals for community service, skills, fitness and adventure.

Olbrich can't wait to bike through the mountains.

"The scenery, definitely in Banff, and building friendships with people on the way," he added.

The participants each have to fundraise for the trip, which is why they're holding a bottle drive on Wednesday, July 22 from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
