Funnel cloud in Calgary. Photo submitted. Updated at 6:30 p.m. - The severe thunderstorm warnings for Drumheller, Hanna and Three Hills have ended.
Thunderstorms which formed this morning in the foothills moved eastward.
"We have a line of very active thunderstorms that extends from just south of Calgary right across through to Drumheller and through to the east," Enviroment Canada meteorologist Bill McMurtry told 99.5 Drum FM.
McMurtry added this is the same system that produced golf ball sized hail and funnel clouds in the Calgary area.
